Cooker Buying Guide
Perfect for busy kitchens, cook multiple dishes at once with a freestanding oven, available with electric, gas or duelfuel options.
Width
The first thing to consider before buying a new freestanding cooker is the space you have available to you. Measure the space in between your cabinet units to give you a clear idea of the cooker width you’ll need. We measure the widths of our freestanding cookers from side to side and in centimetres (cm). Our range of cookers offers two widths to help you find the perfect fit for your kitchen.

Hob Type
After you’ve decided on the fuel and oven type you’d like in your cooker, it’s time to decide which hob type would be best for you.
Induction Hob
Helping you save time and energy, induction technology cleverly recognises the size of your pots and pans to provide faster cooking. Heat is transferred only to your pan surface, resulting in safe and energy efficient cooking. The cooler hob area stops spillages from burning which makes it easier to clean.
Ceramic Hob
If you’d like your pan to heat up faster, our ceramic hobs are made up of five Rapidlite zones that can quickly and efficiently reach their highest temperature. The hob’s flexible dual zone can be extended when cooking with bigger pots and pans. And, its warming zone can keep your roasted veg at the perfect temperature while you wait for your gravy to cook.
Cast Iron Trivets
Cast Iron trivets are another benefit that allow you to use any type and size of pan on the gas cooktop.
Easy To Clean
Easy to Clean Surface
The next factor you should consider when buying a freestanding cooker is how easy it is to clean. We’ve developed a host of self-cleaning and easy-clean solutions to help you save time in the kitchen.
Extra Features
The last, but far from the least, factor that you should consider when you’re looking for a new freestanding cooker, is the range of extra features that it will come with. Beko’s range of cookers offers a host of helpful and modern special features. Here are two of them highlighted:
Induction Hob Technology
Helping you save time and energy, induction technology cleverly recognises the size of your pots and pans to provide faster cooking. Heat is transferred only to your pan surface, resulting in safe and energy efficient cooking. The cooler hob area stops spillages from burning which makes it easier to clean.
Flame Safety Device
The gas hobs built-in flame safety device will automatically cut off the gas supply if the flame goes out.
Cast trivets
Cast Iron trivets are another benefit that allow you to use any type and size of pan on the gas cooktop.
